Does anyone know where to get hemoglobin-based oxygen carrier HBOC?

We are in Thailand and need it

HBOC's were never 'legal' in any countries except South Africa. In other countries it was used "on compassionate grounds" which it is no longer.

The FDA and similar agencies in other countries pulled testing 2 to 3 years ago as there were too many complications ( deaths, etc. )

Officially it is no longer available - companies stopped production.

Some with US military connections were able to get it in Australia a year ago-from left over stock. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

HBOC's suffer from same problem as 'free hemoglobin' - leaking out of blood vessels causing major organ damage and death.
